Treatment Preparation Group

The group aims to equip patients with information about chemotherapy, radiotherapy, target therapy and hormonal therapy. Patients can as a result cope with these treatments and their side effects with confidence.

Target: Breast cancer patients and families
Service fee: Free
Cantonese sessions: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 4:30 to 5:30 pm
English session: Mondays 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm

Breast Cancer Educational Talk

The more you learn about breast cancer, the better you cope. Educational talks for our members as well as members of the public enhance breast cancer awareness and knowledge. Talks feature topics relevant to patients such as Hong Kong Breast Cancer Facts, Treatment Options, Breast Reconstruction after Mastectomy, Lifestyle Adjustment and Health Tips.

Target: Breast cancer patients and their families
Service fee: HKBCF member (Free), Non member (HK$20)

Meeting the Expert Session (Bimonthly)

Participants meet breast cancer experts (a clinical oncologist or a psychologist, for example) and get direct answers for their questions about treatments. Understanding the treatments eases fear, doubt and worry.

Resource Library

Our Resource Library houses books, periodicals, DVDs and news clippings about breast cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment and care. Members are welcome to use these resources.
