Pink Walk against Breast Cancer 2011

9 October 2011 (Sunday), Place: The Peak

1. Dress Code

All participants are encouraged to dress in PINK

2. Enrolment

Please complete the enrolment procedure (either through the online system or by returning the completed Enrolment Form) and submit the minimum donation to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation (HKBCF) before 5:00pm 30 September 2011 to confirm your registration.

For team enrolment: one representative (team coordinator)to submit one hard copy enrolment form or to create one team account online only.

3. Enrolment Confirmation

Participants will be notified by email for enrolment confirmation.

4. Enrolment Deadline

5:00 pm, 30 September 2011.

5. Early Bird Incentive

Be the first 150 registrants with minimum donation submitted before 9 September to get an Early Bird Gift.

6. Oversubscription

If the event is oversubscribed before the deadline, the HKBCF will reluctantly stop accepting enrolment and donations will be returned.

7. Best Dressed Pink Awards

Contestants please register at the designated counter between 8:30 and 9:30am on the event day.

Results will be announced and award presentation will be held before end of the event. Judging criteria include effectiveness of promoting breast cancer awareness through exuberant and creative clothing and use of the pink colour.

8. Other Awards

Apart from Best Dressed Pink Awards, ALL other awards will be determined based on donations received/ the number of participants enroled by 5:00 pm, 30 September 2011.

9. Age of Participants

Participants aged 13 or below must be accompanied by adults.

10. Friendly pets are welcome

Owners are advised to use non-retractable leads. Owners must maintain control of pets at all time and are wholly liable for the damage or wounds suffered by any person who is bitten or attacked by the pet at the event.

11. Inclement Weather

The event will be canceled if a red or black rainstorm warning or a tropical cyclone signal No. 3 or above is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory at 5 am on the event day. New arrangements will be announced at a later date.

Donations will NOT be refunded should the event be canceled due to bad weather or under any other circumstances beyond the control of the HKBCF.
