The Breast Health Centre (BHC) provides free breast screening to eligible clients.  If breast cancer is diagnosed, the BHC will refer patients to either public or private hospitals for treatment.


Application Form


Women from financially underprivileged backgrounds, whose monthly household income in the past three months does not exceed a specified ceiling will receive free breast screening service.  The ceilings can be found in the table below:

1.    40 years old or above, and
2.    HKID card holder, and
3.    Recipient of:

•    Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) Scheme, or
•    Recipient of Work Incentive Transport Subsidy Scheme, or
•    Recipient of Disability Allowance Scheme, or
4.    Low-income women(including working woman and housewife)

Note: If you find unusual change(s) in your breast(s) (such as feeling a lump, bleeding fro the nipple or retraction), please consult your doctor immediately for appropriate diagnosis and treatment and not wait to apply for this programme.
